Hunan Planck Energy Storage Technology is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, production and sales of outdoor and residential energy storage products. A wholly-owned subsidiary of its parent firm Shenzhen Huamei Xintai Technology, it is a key investment attraction project and a flagship enterprise under the Hunan Entrepreneurs Return initiative in Xiangxi High-tech Zone.

Founded in 2021 with a registered capital of 100 million yuan ($14.72 million), the company covers a plant area of 29,000 square meters with a total planned investment of 350 million yuan split into two construction phases.

Phase I, with a total investment of 200 million yuan and 12 automated production lines for outdoor and household energy storage products, was officially put into operation in 2024.

The company's product portfolio falls into three major series. The outdoor energy storage series consists of portable power stations ranging from 500Wh to 3000Wh, catering to diverse scenarios including camping, field operations and emergency power supply. The residential energy storage series covers 3kWh to 20kWh household storage systems that work with photovoltaic equipment to boost the efficient utilization of clean energy. The commercial energy storage series delivers reliable backup power solutions for small and medium-sized merchants, communication base stations and other clients.

All products adopt lithium iron phosphate battery cells equipped with a Battery Management System (BMS) featuring intelligent temperature control and overcharge/over-discharge protection. The products boast a cycle life exceeding 3,000 charge-discharge cycles and a warranty period of five to eight years, and have obtained international safety certifications including the US UL (Underwriters Laboratories) standard and EU CE (Conformité Européenne) marking. They stand out in terms of their high safety, intelligent efficiency, long service life and user-friendly operation.

The company employs more than 400 staff on site, with a total workforce of over 800 if employees from supporting industrial chains within Xiangxi High-tech Zone are also taken into account. The company's professional R&D team totals 255 members (including R&D personnel based in Shenzhen), among whom seven hold doctoral degrees and 25 hold master's degrees.

The firm has signed in-depth industry-university-research cooperation agreements with South China University of Technology, Central South University, Southern University of Science and Technology and Jishou University. It has filed six invention patents for technological innovations and obtained ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certification and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certification.

Its products are sold to global markets in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and beyond, and the company has established long-term partnerships with world-renowned brands such as Walmart, Mophie, Belkin, Lidl, Varta, Energizer and Hama.

The outdoor and residential energy storage production base invested by Shenzhen Huamei Xintai Technology in Xiangxi High-tech Zone has been largely completed. It has built a complete supporting supply chain covering cell manufacturing, SMT patch processing, inverters, BMS systems, finished energy storage equipment and precision structural parts, achieving an 80 percent local sourcing rate of core components within Xiangxi High-tech Zone.

More than 90 percent of products under the company's proprietary brand MARSTEK are exported to developed economies in Europe and America. The brand ranks among the top two players in Germany's market, with comparable market share to its competitor Anker Innovations.

The company's household energy storage products have assumed a leading global position in new energy storage, a niche segment, with market share seeing explosive growth. Around 10 percent of its OEM products under the Jingzao label are sold in the Chinese market.

In 2025, the company posted an annual industrial output value of 663 million yuan, export earnings of 240 million yuan and tax payments of 10.25 million yuan.

From January to May 2026, it registered a total industrial output value of 165 million yuan, export earnings of 202 million yuan and tax contributions of 7 million yuan.
