Hunan Jupiter Times New Energy Technology Company is a national high-tech enterprise integrating the R&D, production and sales of lithium-ion batteries. Founded in August 2022 with registered capital of 200 million yuan ($29.53 million) and Yang Changjun as its legal representative, the company is located in Xiangxi High-tech Industrial Development Zone. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shenzhen Hamedata Technology company.

The firm has obtained ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certification and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certification. It has also received multiple honors, including the Excellent Enterprise Award at the Hunan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, which was conferred by the Hunan Department of Science and Technology; the title of Hunan Provincial Enterprise Technology Center, accredited by the Hunan Department of Industry and Information Technology; and the Hunan May First Labor Medal from the Hunan Federation of Trade Unions.

Rooted in Xiangxi, the company has poured hundreds of millions of yuan into constructing a production line for new energy storage lithium batteries with an annual capacity of three Gigawatt-hours, alongside supporting projects for the energy storage industrial chain. Its products have secured multiple international certifications including CCC, UL, CB, UN38.3 and MSDS.

Meanwhile, a supporting industrial chain for advanced new energy storage has taken shape within the high-tech zone. The company independently develops core products including high-performance energy storage batteries and balcony photovoltaic household energy storage products. All of its production technologies are based on proprietary intellectual property and commercially applied research.

The enterprise employs more than 1,500 people across Luxi and Xiangxi High-tech Zone. In 2025, Hamedata's Xiangxi-based subsidiaries (facilities spanning Jishou and Luxi) registered an annual output value of 1.95 billion yuan, paid 40.73 million yuan in taxes, and posted total export volume worth 723 million yuan. Jupiter Times, one of its subsidiaries, employed 270 people, achieving an annual output value of 364 million yuan and making tax payments of 17.57 million yuan in 2025. From January to May 2026, it recorded an output value of 56 million yuan and profits and taxes of 2 million yuan.
