Introduction to Hunan Zhusheng Biotechnology company
Located in Liaojiaqiao town, Hunan Zhusheng Biotechnology company was founded in 2007. Taking advantage of Fenghuang's thriving tourism sector, the company inherits traditional ethnic craftsmanship, focusing on intensive processing of red-fleshed kiwifruit, pomelos and Xiangxi native honey. It operates four standardized self-owned farms covering over 1,000 mu (66.67 hectares) of contiguous farmland, and collaborates with orchards across Changputang and surrounding villages spanning more than 8,000 mu to establish a full-scale raw material supply chain.

The planting base is ringed by green mountains.
Its business scope covers food production and sales, agricultural by-product processing, biotechnology R&D and more. Owning independent brands including Zhusheng, the firm is a national High-tech Enterprise and a Technology-based SME. It acts as a pacesetter for intensive processing of featured agricultural products in Fenghuang county and a benchmark for integrated development of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries.
The company adopts the "enterprise + base + farmer + chain store" operational model and operates factory facilities that exceed 10,000 square meters. Its flagship products include honey pomelo cream and preserved kiwifruit. Chairman Zhou Zuhui serves as director of Fenghuang Kiwifruit Science and Technology Backyard. The company is involved in a key Hunan provincial research and development project, focusing on key technologies for postharvest preservation and intensive processing of xiangxi kiwifruit and product development. In 2025, it launched new offerings, including not from concentrate (NFC) juice and 100 percent kiwifruit juice.

Harvest of pomelos is underway at the planting base.
The company built a 1,200-mu kiwifruit demonstration base through land circulation. Its kiwifruit and pomelo industrial project has been recognized as a typical project under Hunan's "10,000 Enterprises Revitalizing 10,000 Villages" program. The project assists Changputang Village in developing a complete industrial chain that includes planting, processing and sales. As a result, it is transforming a traditional private enterprise into a modern biotechnology company.
In July 2025, the company expanded its business scope to include the procurement of primary agricultural products and grain purchasing. In October the same year, it published an invention patent for processing equipment for high-protein polypeptide pasta. The company reported operating income of 98 million yuan in 2025 and generated 56 million yuan in revenue from January to May 2026.

Joy of harvest shines on a local's face.
